Youth Theatre

2018 – 2019

 

A new season of popular acting workshops for young people will start on 1st September 2018.

 

Two groups meet every Saturday during term time to increase their performance skills until July 2019 in the Haywood Studio.

 

  • Junior Youth Theatre

8 – 12 years     9am – 10.30am

 

  • Senior Youth Theatre

13 – 18 years  11am – 12.30pm

 

All Senior Youth Theatre members need to make a firm commitment to perform The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on 15th and 16th March 2019. You will need to attend extra rehearsals as required.

 

The Junior Youth Theatre will be demonstrating their acting and performing skills in two showcases for family and friends in the Haywood Studio.

 

Parents, family and friends are welcome to watch any of the Saturday sessions during the course of the year.

  • Cost: £65 per term
  • Dress: Casual, comfortable clothing. No jewellery or boots please.
  • Refreshments: Bring plenty of water/non-fizzy soft drinks. Small snacks if needed
  • Mobile phones: please switch off during the sessions

 

Sessions will be run by Paul Phillips, LDS Youth Theatre Leader and Georgina Venning, Assistant LDS Youth Theatre Leader.
