Blithe Spirit

10 September - 15 September 2018 , 7.30pm
Matinee

Do you believe in ghosts? When eccentric psychic Madame Arcati delves into the unknown, Charles finds himself caught between the spirit of his first wife Elvira and his new spouse Ruth. Two’s company but three is definitely a crowd and things will never be quite the same again.

Noël Coward described Blithe Spirit as an improbable farce, full of incessant wit and elegant charm. Made famous as a film in 1945 starring Rex Harrison and Margaret Rutherford and recently revived on the West End stage with Angela Lansbury, we are delighted to open our new season with this Coward classic.

This amateur production of “Blithe Spirit” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, LTD.
