LEICESTER DRAMA SOCIETY YOUTH THEATRE

The Youth Theatre takes place on Saturday mornings in term time:

Junior Youth Theatre (8-12 years)
10.00 - 11.30 am
Senior Youth Theatre (13-18 years)
12.00 - 1.30 pm

The Saturday workshops cover many aspects of drama and theatre skills including acting techniques, improvisation, voice projection, physical theatre and performance practice. All young people are welcome, whether they are experienced or ‘new’ to drama. One of our main aims is to foster a whole group ethos to develop communication and teamwork skills.

The Juniors gave two successful performances of Superheroes in the Haywood Studio in February, and the Seniors gave three ‘spellbinding’ performances of The Witches in the auditorium in June.
