Speech and Drama Festival

Our fourth annual competition for young people of 8 to18 years to perform in front of an audience, some for the first time, material as diverse as A.A. Milne, Roald Dahl, Lewis Carroll and William Shakespeare, with enthusiasm and ability. The winner of each class is given a book token and entered for the group trophies.

12-14 years

The John Saunders Cup
15-18 years

The Donald Ball Memorial Shield for Shakespeare
15 – 18 years

The Ruth Berridge Shield for most promising young performer
