Rita and Jean have come together at the bedside of their mother to wait. Jean has stayed at home to look after their frail, ageing and ungrateful parent, whilst Rita has carved a life for herself as soon as she could get away from the family home.

A stark and visceral study of the relationships between a dying woman and her two embittered and resentful daughters, touching one moment and hilarious the next.
