The Titfield Thunderbolt
By Philip Goulding
Directed by Nadine Beasley
Monday 15th - Saturday 20th March 2010
Adapted from the Ealing Comedy film this play by Philip Goulding concerns a group of feisty villagers who try to save their railway line from Mallingford to Titfield from closing down, by running it themselves. A difficult enough task without being hindered and sabotaged at every turn by a rival bus line.
Join the wealthy publican, the barmaid, the vicar, the Lady of the Manor, the poacher, the policeman and their opposition for a romp through the British countryside. It is only fair to warn you that participation may be called for and those at the front may get a little damp!
